Christmas & New Year is just around the corner.  Your...

Christmas & New Year is just around the corner.

Your clients may not be thinking about Christmas yet, but as a small business owner, you should be!

Studies show that during the Christmas and New Year period Social Media use skyrockets, meaning it’s a perfect time to advertise your business while your target market are on holiday, at the beach, with their smartphone.

Using social media to create and deepen customer relationships around this time should be at the top of your agenda as you seek to maximise revenue potential over the coming months, and keep your brand visibility strong while everyone’s on holiday, flicking over facebook on the beach.

With that in mind, here are some tips for you to think about in the months leading up to the holidays.

October – Action Stations

We’re already well into October and Christmas can still feel a long way away. In reality, now is the time to book and finalise upcoming promotions, campaigns, and e-blasts for your end of year push.  Now is the time to really drive value from all your online communication. Even during this busy, often chaotic period of the year, it pays to remember one simple rule “relevancy = revenue”

Examples:

  • Launch Any Special Offers
  • Create Early Bird Offers for 2018
  • Encourage loyalty offers for repeat business or referrals
  • Promote any new company updates that prove your business will be starting strong in 2018.

November – Welcome the Festive Spirit!

Research shows that November is a big time for sales right across many industries, so it’s vital to make the most of these months with your Email, Facebook and Instagram visibility.

Add visual clues to your emails, decorating and designing the layout as you would a shop front.  Create a special Christmas offer that might help nudge along sales or commitment to a contract in 2018.

December - The Final Push!

The first thing to do in December is to plan a little something nice for clients which show your appreciation for their loyalty and business. This should be a sincere message without any sales literature in order to build genuine relationships with your customers.

You can create an ecard or simply a beautifully designed card designed by you and sent out via your Email Marketing System  - (Try www.Canva.com for holiday card ideas)

Secondly, it’s the perfect time to plan your January Campaign with Rich Training. You might not realise, but people spend a lot more time on social media than they usually would, during this time.

That’s why launching your campaigns in January means, you can hit the ground running with plenty of well-qualified leads in February to set you up for the rest of the year.

Remember your customers will have busy schedules, so it’s always good to send them quick friendly reminders for up and coming company deadlines and dates you’re also away from work.
